Although the lake is fairly well stocked with trout, fishing can be capricious, with nymphing probably the most effective technique.
Please note that the downstream part of the lake and the whole of the Gorges du Diable, downstream of the dam, are classified as a fishing reserve.
Lac du Jotty is open to anglers holding the department's river fishing card. Fishing in Lac de Jotty is rated as "difficult". General regulations apply.
