Lac de Montriond abounds in fish species of all kinds: trout (fario and rainbow), minnows, Arctic char, blageon, rotengle... Well-populated, it is nevertheless home to some very fine specimens that can sometimes prove very fickle: anglers, even the most seasoned, will need to show finesse and perseverance...
The most effective techniques are waddling at the start of the season, followed by nymph fishing a little later on.
Lac de Montriond covers 32 hectares and is 19 metres deep. Fishing in the lake is on the "difficult" level.
