What is telemark skiing?
Neither Alpine nor Nordic, telemark is the missing link between the two. It's the combination of all combinations, mixing the two techniques (free heel on an alpine ski). There are three different events on the telemark competition circuit.
Telemark skiers must be all-rounders: skiers, jumpers and cross-country skiers.
He or she must also demonstrate strategy, knowing how to manage effort on the different figures of the course, with physical commitment and respect for the telemark style.
