KMV Nantaux
Description
Come and test your mettle at the 12th edition, on the playground of the emblematic Nantaux summit in the communes of Montriond and St Jean d'Aulps.
The vertical kilometre is an uphill-only race, requiring a short but very intensive effort.
Start against the clock, every 20sec.
Timetable:
7.00 am – 8.00 am: collection of race numbers
8.15 am: symbolic start of the Speed-riding event, accompanied by an alphorn
8.30 am: start of the KMV Nantaux race
11.30 am – 3.00 pm: lunch with entertainment
2.00 pm: speeches and prize-giving ceremony
11.30 am – midnight: a friendly atmosphere and a festive evening

Participation is open to runners born before 13/09/2009 (aged 16 or over on race day).
The start is at “Les Granges” in Montriond. The finish is at 1934m, towards the pointe de Nantaux.
The race is followed by a meal.
Training :
- Thank you for respecting the territory and the inhabitants, as the course passes through private property and parks. The KMV Nantaux course is exceptionally open during the annual event thanks to the agreement of the locals.
