Hiking: Pointe d'Ireuse from Seytroux

Set off to explore Pointe d’Ireuse, a must-see peak offering stunning views. From the summit, the view stretches across Mont Blanc, the spectacular Dents du Midi, the famous Lake Geneva and the hills of the Chablais region.

Designed for experienced hikers, this route crosses the unspoilt mountain pastures of Seytrouset and Nifflon d’en Haut. These authentic landscapes, which have remained untouched over time, offer a complete immersion in peaceful, wild nature. As you walk, the soothing atmosphere of the surroundings invites you to slow down, contemplate and reconnect fully with the mountain environment.

Start from the Culées car park.

1/ From the car park, head towards Les Hautes Culées.

2/ At Les Hautes Culées, turn left towards Les Mouillettes.

3/ At Les Mouillettes, turn left towards La Chette.

4/ At La Chette, turn right then left towards Seytrouset. You are now on a wider, open track.

5/ At Seytrouset, head up to the left towards the Col de Seytrouset.

6/ At the Col de Seytrouset, turn right towards Nifflon d'en Haut.

7/ From Nifflon d'en Haut, turn right towards Pointe d'Ireuse.

8/ Return via the same route, following these directions in turn: Nifflon d'en Haut, Col de Seytrouset, Seytrouset, La Chette, Les Mouillettes, Les Hautes Culées, Les Culées.
