La Baume heritage tour

The village of La Baume has a rich heritage. This circuit allows you to discover the religious heritage of the village which is closely linked to its history: the church, the chapel of Promerat, several oratories and the Grotto of Notre Dame de Lourdes.

Set off from the parking at the cemetery, close to the grotto, go towards the church square and admire the church and the view of the Aulps Valley, then head towards the chapel of Promerat. Continue the road towards Urine, then by the Nant de Scie you will find the oratory of the Goutreuze d'en Haut and the oratory of the Goutreuze d'en Bas. Finally, go down to the Grotto Notre Dame de Lourdes.

You can enjoy a picnic in the picnic area and read the explanatory panels at the Chapel of Promerat, at the church and at the Grotto (where you can even enjoy a game of petanque)
